Digital Cameras offer improved quality and functions as compared to the traditional cameras although digital cameras still provide the same techniques and principle with that of a traditional camera. The varying sizes and colors and styles can cater to anyone’s likes and needs. Digital cameras produce quality images and are fantastic for web usage. As well as the cost of each image produced is insignificant and process time is negligent. On the other hand, traditional film is still the better choice for providing image quality to color and versatility in exposure settings.

Digital cameras can be used in conjunction with video cameras, laptops, hand held cameras and mobile phones.

Some of the ethical issues that may arise from using digital cameras may involve privacy and exploitation and misuse of the technology.

Digital cameras can be used in occupational therapy to provide information in planning and providing tools and devices to suit clients’ needs. It is also a very important reference material to suppliers and organizations for funding purposes.

Flickr.com is a website that allows users to share, upload, and embed personal photos and access to other photos or images relating to a particular topic. Imeem also provides the same features as photo storage like flickr.com.

Optical Zoom – as the word “optic” means that it pertains to lens as it changes its focus and magnification.

Digital Zoom – changes, modifies the image to a smaller size then enlarges the image to make it suitable for a particular frame.

Megapixel pertains to the number of pixels required to create an image.
